Andria was selected to manage this facility based on her dedication to both adult and pediatric speech therapy. Baumgartner is specially trained in pediatric feeding and swallowing techniques, NICU graduate feeding issues, Vocal Cord Dysfunction, Vital Stim, stuttering therapy and Lee Silverman Voice protocol. "This facility is an optimal location to provide optimal pediatric services to the families of Plainfield, south Naperville, Joliet, Lockport, Lemont and Yorkville," explained Group Director, Sara Ochoa. Baumgartner feels the clinic "offers more direct patient care for children with special needs. We work with the school district and other medical practitioners to maximize a child\'s therapeutic benefit." The Pediatric Place (a Physiotherapy Associates Company) currently has 12 pediatric facilities in the Chicagoland area which are dedicated to pediatric rehabilitation.
